What decides a website price in Bangladesh
What sets website cost in Bangladesh: pages, shop features, content, and care. How fixed quotes work. Email for your quote.
A website cost is not only the money to build it. A domain, hosting, images and text, online payments and care after launch all add to the full sum. The price you decide on is the total of these parts, not the design fee alone.
If you are searching in Banglish, the same question appears as “website banate khoroch koto”. The answer is the same: scope decides the price, and a written quote makes it clear.
What the cost is made of
Website cost falls into three times: one time work, yearly costs, and care after launch. The six lines below fit inside those three parts. Building happens once. Domain and hosting come every year. Care can be monthly or yearly.
| Cost part | What it covers | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Design and development | Pages, features, phone testing | Once, at the start |
| Domain | Your address on the internet | Every year |
| Hosting | The server that keeps the site online | Monthly or yearly |
| Content | Images, text, product data | At the start, then as needed |
| Online payment | Gateway setup and transaction fees | Only for an online shop |
| Care | Updates, backups, small fixes | Monthly or yearly |
These six parts are separate. When someone gives you one price, ask which of them are inside it. Many quotes cover only the build, and domain or hosting stays separate.
Which parts change the price most
Scope changes the price most: how many pages, which features, and whether you take money online. Two sites that look the same can cost very different amounts because the outside look is the same while the work inside is not.
Number of pages
One page and ten pages are not the same job. Every page needs the text arranged, images placed, a phone check and a test. More pages take more time.
Online shop
A site that shows products and a site that takes money online are different. A shop adds a product list, stock, orders, delivery charges, payment and a return policy. Each part is separate work.
Language
A one language site is simpler. With Bangla and English, every piece of text, every button and every message is written twice. Bangla fonts and line height also need a separate check because Bangla text takes a little more room.
Who provides the content
If you hand over images, text and product data in order, the work moves faster. If not, someone has to do that work too. This is often the biggest difference in price even when it is not a separate line in the quote.
Links to other systems
A link to accounting software, SMS, a delivery service or a payment gateway raises the price. Every link needs testing and has to follow the rules of a third party.
Time
Normal timing is one price, and “I need it tomorrow” is another. Fast work pushes other work back, so speed often costs more. There is nothing hidden in that, and it is better said at the start.
Design
A design made for your business and a site arranged on a ready theme are different jobs. A ready theme is faster but looks like many other sites. Your own design takes longer, but the site looks like your business.
What you give up at a low price
A low price is not always bad. But at a low price something is lower somewhere. Usually it is content, phone testing, documentation or care after launch.
What often drops out at a low price:
- A separate phone test for every page.
- Images resized so the site opens on a slow connection.
- The correct Bangla font and line height.
- Code handover and written documentation.
- Time for small fixes after launch.
If someone promises every feature at a very low price, ask for the written scope. The list of what is inside and what is not tells you the real price.
How a quote works
A good quote has four things: the work list, the timeline, the price, and what is not included. When these four are written down, the story does not change later.
Our work steps:
- You write what you need by email.
- We ask questions so the scope is clear.
- We send a one page list of work, time and price.
- Work starts after you approve.
- Work moves by milestone, and payment follows the same steps.
- After launch, code, accounts and documentation are handed over.
To get a quote, send these five things:
- What you want to build, in two or three lines.
- How many pages or screens.
- When you need it.
- A budget idea, if you have one.
- Links or screenshots of sites you like.
These points are also on the contact page, and you can email us directly. Every price shown on this site is a placeholder and is confirmed by email.
What should stay in your name
The domain, hosting, payment gateway and code are best kept in your name or your account. Then another team can take over later without trouble.
Buy the domain and hosting separately, and write the renewal dates in a calendar. A missed renewal can take the site offline, and someone else can buy the domain.
Mistakes that raise the price
- Changing the scope again and again in the middle.
- Sending images and text at the last moment.
- More than one person making decisions.
- Comparing only the price and not the scope.
- Leaving renewal and backup costs out of the plan.
Avoid these five and the work moves faster, and the price stays inside the estimate.
When a Facebook page is enough
Not every business needs a website today. If you have very few products, all customers come from Facebook, and you will not add anything to a site regularly, a clean Facebook page and a sheet can run for a long time.
Your own site matters when you want an address in your own name, when you want to be found in search, or when you want the customer list to stay with you if Facebook changes its rules. Decide that by the type of work, before the money.
In short
Website price is set by scope, who provides the content, whether online payment is needed, and how much care you want after launch. Do not compare only numbers. Compare the scope first. With two quotes, ask which parts are inside and which are not.
Write what your work is in two or three lines and email us. We reply with questions, then a quote in Taka. The detailed kinds of work are on the services page and the custom work page.
Questions and answers
What is a starting price?
A single number is not possible because pages and features change the price. Write what you want to build, how many pages, and whether you sell online. We send a fixed quote in Taka, and the quote also says what is inside it.
Are domain and hosting inside the quote?
Usually they are separate because they come every year and are best kept in your name. The quote says who is responsible for each. Knowing the renewal date and cost in advance leaves no surprise later.
Will I own the code and design?
Yes. After the final payment the code, design and accounts are handed to you, with documentation. Anything that stays separate is written in the quote before work starts.
Is a cheap website always a bad website?
No. A simple site with a clear scope can be cheap and still work well. The problem starts when the scope is unclear. Ask for the work list and the list of what is not included, then compare that with the price.
